Послушал я тут очередной выпуск radio-t и аж заколдобился: “Гугл – не Гугл Россия, а Гугл тот, американский – покупает компанию Бегун у компании Рамблер”, “Я считаю, что это просто честная яндексовая победа, потому что Гугль наконец-то признался, что ничем, кроме бабла, он здесь ничего сделать не может” и т.п. Кажется, это называется “К коллегам из Google профессионалы Яндекса всегда относились с большим уважением”.

Guys, in what language do you comment your code at Yandex?
Den Raskovalov says you don't write comments at all, but that must be some kind of a joke, right?

Competition is always good

The new Yandex maps are pretty cool. Especially the way the datasets are cropped ;)
I also love their inverted Google features. The inverted zoom slider, the inverted mini-map, and now the ll parameter which stands for LngLat — what next? Reverse geocoding? Seriously, this consistency makes me wonder. Do they have some evil twin for each Google UI designer, or is it about preventing the users from switching?
