Competition is always good

The new Yandex maps are pretty cool.
Especially the way the datasets are cropped ;)
I also love their inverted Google features. The inverted zoom slider, the inverted mini-map, and now the ll parameter which stands for LngLat — what next? Reverse geocoding? Seriously, this consistency makes me wonder. Do they have some evil twin for each Google UI designer, or is it about preventing the users from switching?

  1. they fixed the mouse wheel direction! cool! (in both old and new maps) but we are more consistent with the slider :)
