10.5

Upgraded to Leopard. Painful. Ukelele fails to make a new layout, Xjournal crashes upon login, Firefox displays question marks instead of Cyrillic in the input fields, Adium shows garbage, Software Update fails to connect — and these were just the first random apps I launched, so it looks like much fun in the next few weeks. Frankly, I didn't expect that from Apple.

Ah well, at least I can configure the whole thing from scratch. It takes some time but always brings up some cool stuff (it's GimmeSomeTune for me today).

  1. Проблема с файрфоксом решается следующим образом: качаешь русский фф, ставишь его, потом из английского достаешь en-US.jar и en-US.manifest, кладешь их в этот фф, дальше в about:config general.useragent.locale -> en-US. Как чуваки из мозиллы такого добились — я не знаю, если честно.
    Об остальных проблемах первый раз слышу, укулеле и адиум работают нормально.

  2. Не, ну я уже полез в ру_мак и в гугл, всё это прочёл, скачал русский фаерфокс и обновлённый xjournal, обживаю всё потихоньку, но осадок остался.

    Сорри, кстати, что я забыл про maps.app, тут какой-то сумасшедший цейтнот случился :( Он тебе всё ещё нужен?
